Customer Complaint on Tuning

Terry,
You did a good job of tuning her piano. The piano was in horrible condition
and needs more work. She is never going to be satisfied because she
expects too much especially for not taking proper care of it, neglect actually.

Keep the money, tell her she is not a customer you want to keep. Play hardball.

She's not going to get it tuned again anyways for another 10+ years so...

Maybe it doesn't sound right because she's used to the way it was sounding.

I heard of one story where the tuner got a call because they couldn't
hear the notes.
Well, yeah. The notes weren't warbling all over the place. Some
people prefer the
out-of-tuneness, it's what they can hear.

Don't send any money back. Don't pay for her short comings. Tell her
it will start
sounding better soon all by itself. Don't knock yourself out for
someone else's
ignorance.
