[pianotech] burning WNG shanks?

You don't.... if you try they will shatter. I think one hangs the hammers straight or ......hmm.??? I understand the rigidity is a plus but I'm guessing the?Burgett bros.?have some suggestions on this matter. I'd Ask them.

Just got a postcard from Wessell, Nickel & Gross.? I have no experience installing their parts.?
? How does one go about burning composite shanks?? (Or making the equivalent adjustment?)
