These are recessed head 10-24 hex head machine screws with the 
tops cut down on a lathe. Where I got them is bookmarked - 
somewhere, but it's eluding me at the moment. They were what I 
could find at the time that met what I thought were my 
requirements. #10 is overkill, but I wanted 24tpi instead of 
the 32 I'd get with #8 or #6. Brass would be nice, or 
stainless, but I didn't find anything I liked. Wood screw 
threads would be fine too, like those on Jurgen's capstans. 
There's probably something out there that's just the thing, if 
it would only turn up. All suggestions from any source would 
be appreciated.
