Aha, so there WAS a half-grand (which was really the only thing that made
sense)!  Thanks, Conrad -- I'll bet you nailed it.

And "feartal grand" turned into "baby grand"?  One drawback of email is
the inability to see when someone is writing with a sly grin on his
face...... <g>
