How about something similar, but with a much deeper offset, for driving tuning pins on a restring or new block situation. It would be great for uniform depth, especially if a "stopper" of some sort could be put on the rack or something to limit the turn of the pinion. I have hammered in far too many balance and front rail pins and enlarged holes, etc. A simple arbor press does such a good job - rail pins, capstans, backchecks, etc. I've only used mine two or three times now on projects, but I just think it is the greatest!
