Andre's Front Punchings vs SchimmelsHi Jon,
             We have carried the test a step further.  Since the Crescendo punchings are a bit thinner than many of the factory installed punchings, a .060" to .080" is needed to avoid the stack of paper and card punchings under the felt.
On Yamaha's we glue a .065 card punching to the rail just a little tack no squeeze out.   Big difference in both tone and noise.
Give it a try you may like it.
