There are a number of us out here who are ignorant, and relatively poor who do NOT know the ins and outs of this insurance stuff. I'm certainly one of them. I DO know that it's worthless in a school if one is accused, at least as far as career is concerned. I also know I've been terribly naïve and assumed most people with a piano are people of good will. So, this geezer would consider this a thread greatly appreciated if it were expanded a whole lot. les bartlett -----Original Message----- From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Bob Hull Sent: Saturday, February 23, 2008 9:33 PM To: Pianotech List Subject: Re: insurance I recommend that you don't leave home without it. As an LLC your personal possessions can't be tapped in the event of a lawsuit, just your business. You still need the protection however, because things can go wrong when you least expect it. I have had customers ask me if I was insured and this helped them to feel comfortable selecting my company to do their work.
