Steve,

Nahant is a town in Massachusetts north of Boston (formerly a fishing 
and whaling town), located on what was at one time an island. It is 
now connected by a causeway to the mainland (and the town of Lynn) 
and is a pricey bedroom community. There is a bit of a piano 
connection here in that one of the Birmingham brothers who owned 
Steinway previous to the current ownership lives on Nahant (or did 
back then...)
