Here's what I use. I have no illusions about building clamps 
that will remain reliably air tight for 20 minutes at a time, 
so mine remain under supply pressure with the valve open - 
hissing faintly. I close the valve before I connect the air, 
and crack it open slowly to control where everything goes. I 
still pin my ribs though, having found "control" a bit too 
illusionary on too many occasions. The devil may or may not be 
in the details, but Murphy sure is.

Nice clamps David. I've been wanting to overhaul mine for 
years, but I like the replace with aluminum weight loss plan more.
