No secret.  My design, board by NW Specialty Woods, ribs by Terry Farrell,
block a maple multilaminate from Pianotek, original long bridge cut down, I
made the transition and bass bridges and bridge caps, plate mounting by
McMaster Carr-3/8 x 16 x 4" socket screws, lock nuts and hex caps.

  Looks pretty Dave.  WHo made the board & block? What plate mounting device
is this. Looks Like the Coleman idea.

Here's a Steinway O with modifications: transition bridge (old style
connection), cut-off, modified bass bridge sans cantilever, adjustable plate
mounting system.  Vertical hitches in the plate in the treble section (not
pictured).  Plate goes in today.
