[pianotech] How do you ladies do it?

         I do have the armspan. I brace myself and use the floor for 
leverage, and then push on both spring clips as hard as I can and pull the panel. 
Sometimes it helps to push the panel IN before pushing up on the spring 
clip, then pull.  I dont know if the squinting helps.
