It's to eliminate a second pitch raise and keep the process down to two passes. Body conservation. Time too. I set pins (strings) somewhat as I do a pitch raise, as I find it gives me a clearer picture of what I am hearing, and a more accurate result. It also takes more time as a trade off. Instead of a 15 minute quickie PR pass, mine usually take 20+, with a two pass PT&T taking typically about 70 minutes. Ron N
