Hey guys, Do you have a diameter for the pins that you call No 1 or No 2 etc. We buy pins by diameter in millimetres (but inches will do). It seems to work well with lighter tension scales. ( Only my Opinion) However, I confess my Symphony D has a new maple block with a no. 1 & tunes quite well but if I were to do it again I'd go with 2's In my opinion if the plate flange being considered is thick ( ie.10mm ) a no. one to my tactile senses can feel more flagpoley than I like, especially if the pin fit is a bit on the tight side. In this case I will strongly remonstrate with the pin or..... simply I hate the feel & would rather use a stiffer pin no. 2. The type of block Terry & I make with the multi dense top cap mitigates a lot of flagpoling even with a thick plate flange and I think Terry would agree, no's aren't much of an issue. Dale Erwin
