Thanks Al for this suggestion too. I installed new hammers and did a rough regulation of letoff and drop. After this jack alignment I will be doing a more thorough regulation. This is all very new to me but I am having a great time learning and working so the double duty does not bother me. The rail does not always go back in exactly the same place because the holes are a bit large, and this can change your let off adjustments if you have already done them. Otherwise, removing the rail makes this adjustment very fast and easy. Takes less than a minute to do and saves a bunch of time in regulating.
