    The carbide flat sanders are great for reshaping hammers.  I bought two from Pianotek, the kind that have two different grits on the same side.  The rougher one for quick felt removal and the finer one for finish work.  They're especially good for verticals where the space between hammers and strings is limited.  You can also cover two hammers at a time when filing.
