Well, um, I have spilled CLP on hammers. After it dried (next day and thereafter) there was zero difference in tone/voicing, etc. I was worried too, but it really did nothing. The hammers on this particular practice room piano were not new, maybe 5 years old. Not quite ready for new, but close. Let us know what happens in your case. Jim Busby
