If they're willing to pay for your work, customers like this can be wonderful. When you talk of "issues" it sounds like you just want the demands to go away. It's important to be clear that you understand what the customer is asking. You need to be able to hear it, or imagine it in your mind, so that you want it, too. I would not recommend voicing or changing hammers without some tonal goal in mind. Perhaps you need to sleep on it. Sometimes things like this need a little time.
