Hi all.

I use the Sanyo
<http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/sanyo-7050-sprint/4505-6454_7-32380267.
html> SCP-7050

It has the best reception of any cell phone I have ever had.

Cheers,

Hello,

I will be getting a new cell phone next month, and was wondering what would
be a good pick for the business we are in.

?

I have Verizon service, and I have been looking at the LG enV3.

Have a good week,

I use Tracfone. It's only 9 cents a minute or less, I only pay for what I

use. It really helps keep cell phone costs down as I am always mindful that

I am paying for every minute I use. It keeps me from using the cell phone to

chat. The display always shows how many minutes are left before I need to

add more.

The kids use theirs as much as they want, but they have to buy their own air

time. It's amazing how frugal they get with their usage. It costs 3 cents

for each text message, to send and receive. The cost for the wife's phone is

less than $5 a month as she rarely uses it.

When Tune Lab gets written for the I-Phone I'll probably switch my phone

just to reduce the number of devices I'm carrying from 3 to one. But I'll

keep my wife's and kids' with Tracfone.

I have the LG enV2 (as do my wife, and one of my daughters), and find it

quite adequate (Verizon service, strong signal in most places, even my home)

. I don't have any experience with the enV3, sorry. Not as cool as my 1st

gen iPhone (but the AT&T signal is non existent in my home, while very good

elsewhere).Patrick Draine

Going to tune a spinet tomorrow.

Customer says it has "one wire broken, A below middle C..."

Chatted a bit more, then she says "I tried to tune it myself."

Me: "Is that how the string broke?"

Her: "Yes. It didn't look that hard, but I guess it is. I got the tool from

my son." (Well good, I was imagining her using a 6" Crescent!)

So I'm curious... how often has anyone come across this? It's a first for me

in my not-so-many years of tuning.

Not too often, but you do get the occasional do-it-yourselfer who thinks it
looks easy. The one I enjoyed the most was a lady who said her husband
claimed to have a good ear so he bought the tools. He spent 8 hours one
Saturday and never could set a temperament. At the end of the day he told
his wife to call the ---- tuner. She seemed to be amused by it!
