Hammers will check in lower after rebounding off the strings than
with a free-fall out of the piano. Make certain the key dip is duplicated.
Set the back checks higher out of the piano. Another way or a way to check
hold the key down with one hand, lift the hammer with the other and
fling it into check mimicking the string rebound force. You can do it with more
than one hammer at a time.
