With a decent plastic, they would have worked, but... Put the 
action in the DNR file, and make the best case you can to 
replace it. What are the hammer flanges made of? How about the 
damper underlever assembly? Patching this stuff up is a waste 
of money. It needs to be replaced with wood, or real plastic. 
Will one of the WN&G products fit?
