The Emerson Square Grand I have in the shop now has that feature. Looks cool but very hard to turn the screw just right to get the desired friction. Will most likely get them close and then size or GJ ----- Original Message ----- From: <buckscott at juno.com> To: <pianotech at ptg.org> Sent: Saturday, June 06, 2009 4:31 PM Subject: [pianotech] hammer flange set screw? Hello colleagues - A few years back, I recall someone (maybe Bill Spurlock?) doing fine adjustments to friction with a set screw at the hammer flange (in a grand). Does anyone know what that is called, or where to find info? Seems like a really good idea, for uniform feel... Please reply privately to buckscott at juno.com.
