I have an adjustable round stool in wheels which I bought at Harbour Freight and it really helps. I also use it when I'm regulating capstans on the bench as well. ----- Original Message ----- From: jim ialeggio To: pianotech at ptg.org Sent: Saturday, June 13, 2009 6:12 AM Subject: [pianotech] ergonomic grand regulation ideas? I find grand keyleveling/dip, damper work...etc, uncomfortable. Working at the bench is so nice, but alas, I end up inside the carcass for way more time than I would like. Anyone have any comfortable approaches to sitting at the piano while regulating action and dampers?
