Hi, Is there any creative repair other than relacement for the damper flange spring assembly on Baldwin school studio uprights? First time I have run into plastic in Badwin products. All of the bass flanges have broken and none of the treble. Could be due to the difference in spring tension on bass dampers. or tose who have not run into this, the flange has a little nub that the eye of the springis captured by.
