Sorry, read these after I sent mine in. I have good luck with having them brazed. Find a good welder and make sure they line them up perfectly down the rail or you will be in for a lot of extra work later on. -----Original Message----- From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Pianoman Sent: Monday, June 15, 2009 6:33 PM To: pianotech at ptg.org Subject: Re: [pianotech] Damper Pedal The L bracket thingees are broken or loose on the damper lift rail. When I depressed the damper pedal, most of the dampers in the bass didn't budge, until the mid tenor when they barely started lifting, and then by the time you looked at the treble, they were away from the strings by an inch or more. Is there some underlying issue here besides regulation? TODD PIANO WORKS Matthew Todd, Piano Technician (979) 248-9578 http://www.toddpianoworks.com _____ avast!
