Hello Gerald, Kimball used two types of rubber grommets. you did not say which. One was by Pratt - Read with a square top and the other was built by Wood-- Brooks with the round or "dough-nut " grommets. While It is necessary to remove the metal screws on the P--- Read to replace the grommets it is not necessary to remove the metal screws on the Wood ---Brooks. Regards to All !!
