Hi, Radiant heat is as damaging as several writers have said. Many times I've asked a customer to call in the heating contractor to see if a portion can be disconnected. The same thing goes for moving cold air returns, and turning off portions of baseboard heaters. I'm posting this to both lists because I can't remember which forum is discussing it!
