You can use Microsoft Outlook which has a totally programmable data base for contacts with different fields. You can format email reminders, group sort, contact dates, service history, email and snail mail addresses, all the stuff you need to do. I'm in the process of converting my old database (obsolete now) to this and it's simple and easy. There are others though.
