I use Outlook also. Works very well for me. Besides keeping records of the work that has been done I use the flag to schedule the next tuning date and set up a reminder. Syncs up with my PTD, so I have all the customer information anytime I need it. When I'm at a clients home, I can check what I did last time I was there. Temp/Hum, pitch deviation repairs etc. I keep all the customer history.

You can use Microsoft Outlook which has a totally programmable data base for contacts with different fields. You can format email reminders, group sort, contact dates, service history, email and snail mail addresses, all the stuff you need to do. I'm in the process of converting my old database (obsolete now) to this and it's simple and easy. There are others though.

I am in the process of getting a manager/accountant involved with my business. I've been keeping track of clients/appointments/finances with PTBiz for many years. I realize that program is dated as the author is no longer supporting it.

I need to find a program(s) that can basically do what I've been doing with PTBiz, but one that also has the ability to sync with another remote computer (my assistant will be working 40 miles away), AND hopefully, be able to run on and sync with a PDA (HP iPAQ running Windows Mobile).

Any recommendations from the computer literates out there?

    Thanks!
