hi guys

this subject reminds me of something i wanted to ask everybody.
has anyone else noticed that when doing a major pitch change on a  
piano that hasn't been tuned in a very long time, that the bass  
strings seem more brittle and likely to break the first pass, but  
after the first pass, seem more elastic?
