Agreed.  I had one also.  Use a piano tilter.  Easy way out?  Barter the job
with another tech.  They help you lay it down, install them 

and set it up.  You return the favor.  More fun too.

Simply borrow a lay back to do this job. Someone in your chapter has one. 

Over thirty years I squatted down and stood up lifting  pianos. Now that I
have had hernia surgery I do not do that any more. Well, at least not the
larger heavy pianos.  

I am saying this to you before you get a hernia.
