[pianotech] email address on websites?

On my website, I have a link that says "E-mail me".  When people click on it, it brings up a form they fill out and submit.  It goes straight to my e-mail to which I can then respond.  My e-mail address is not displayed anywhere on my page.  Every once in a while I get a spam message from the form, but it doesn't happen enough for me to add a feature to block spamers.

I'm finally getting to the finishing touches on my website.

One of the final questions is how to display the email address?

Putting an active link on the contact page gives your prospective clients barrier free contact, but opens you up to all kinds of spam/garbage.

Display the email as an image is safer in the junk mail category, but an impediment to your clients.

Does anyone have an active email link in their contact page?  If so, how'd you go about setting it up to avoid spam, or do you get loads of junk?
