[pianotech] pay as you go

One guy I new paid cash for everything.
He couldn't book a hotel room, or rent a car, without a credit card. So cash
for everything doesn't always work.

Paying cash for everything even things like cars is great if you can do it.
Doesn’t work that well for houses though.

Well, if you're tuning 5 pianos a month maybe... $5.10 a week pays for the
dues if the total is $265.00. I just received my bill but haven't looked
at it yet.

I follow Dave Ramsey's advice. I don't charge. I pay cash for everything.
I save money for what I want or need. I use a debt card for all
transactions and if I don't have the money, I just say no and don't do it.
I just bought another car and paid cash for it.

Anything is possible but, a strict budget must be followed and adhered too.
That's my opinion anyway. Works for me FWIW.

Oh, I beg to differ - it is if you don't have the money to set aside in
the first place.

PLUS, my wife just got laid off from her IT job after 35 years - gone to
India :-(
