[pianotech] O.T. What do you do to keep fit?

I stay in shape playing racquet ball at the Y for an hour to an hour and a half, 2 or 3 times a week with a group of guys around my age. I have slowed down a little since I started playing 35 years ago, but I get a good workout, I enjoy the sport, and there's great camaraderie. I don't have to wear a helmet and knee guards, but it does sting a LOT, when I get hit by an 80 mph ball.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

As we all know, Piano tuning is a mostly sedentary occupation...or "art" as many of us would describe it! So I was wondering what you all do to help keep those "spare tires" and "love handles" under control. Also, since we just had Thanksgiving, and for those who DON'T currently have a regular exercise routine, this would be a perfect time to start!

To kick things off, let me show you what I do to keep in shape; it's rather unusual, but it has become an integral part of my daily life, and it's by far the most efficient, and effective way I've ever found for getting and staying fit. Oh, and the other big perk is, it's FUN! I've made more than 200 of these, but here's a couple of my most recent. You can see many more by clicking my website link under my sig. Happy holidays!
