Well, think about what results from filing the notch longer or the tines
shorter. What should happen to the pitch when you make the tines longer or
shorter?

Hello all

I have several old tuning forks I'm interested in calibrating. I seem to
remember, filing at the top or bottom might adjust the pitch, but I cannot
locate instructions for this procedure. Can anyone advise me of the correct
method. I use a
SAT III to check the pitch of the fork.
Thank you
