I don't know if any of you know about this, but I just received this sad message form Israel Stein.

Hello,

It is with great sorrow that I must inform you that David Ilvedson, a 
long-time member of the San Francisco Chapter and a resident of 
Pacifica, passed away after a long illness. The family wishes to keep 
details private.

David has served as President of the San Francisco Chapter in past 
years, and his term of office was marked by many interesting and 
imaginative technical offerings - many of them of the "hands-on" 
variety. In recent years he has been the Treasurer of the PTG Northern 
California Area Exam Board. He was also active as a performing musician 
with a band.

A memorial service is being planned for Sunday, August 15, in a Pacifica 
concert hall whose pianos David serviced. Details will be announced when 
they become available.

All who wish to share with the chapter their reminiscences of David, 
please reply to this message - through your words we would all be able 
to keep David alive in our hearts. He will be greatly missed...
