The Height reaming tool trims to 3 mm. This works well. I also made a jig to expedite height reaming and the easing process. Photo 1 shows the guide which is positioned on the key and the platen is lowered for the easing tool to extend beyond the bottom of the key. It is quick and easy to ease the holes to the same degree. Photo 2 shows the platen flush with the surface for the height reamer. For holes that are beveled on the bottom, the threaded stud is raised to stop the tool at the appropriate depth. The platen and stud are adjusted from the bottom. When reaming the height, sometimes I'll brace a few keys together on a flat piece of metal under the holes and ream with the bit in a cordless drill. This speeds up the process. -- Regards, Jon Page -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
