I - was - going to stay out of this but because of my wifes' position in
this matter - but - here goes.

Medical costs going up are caused by many things, some of which were
already covered.

For those of you with Blue Cross Blue Shield / Wellpoint / Anthem -
LISTEN UP !!!!!

After 34 years with them, they decided to "terminate" her.

It wasn't that her job was going away, they just decided to cut costs,
which normally is OK.

In her case, her - job - went - to - INDIA !

YES, her job in IT after 34 years went to INDIA !

Now, based on her dealings with the subject, the people of INDIA have
absolutely NO IDEA OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING !!!!

They had no experience in the software, nor healthcare, nor their
procedures, nor their policies, nor testing procedures, etc.

It took 2 to 3 times longer to get anything done because they were
letting go all of the TRAINED and KNOWLEDGEABLE persons here in the US.

And this saves money HOW ????

Furthermore, for the US persons in mind, when was the last you talked to
a helpdesk person that was in the US and had an understandable accent ?

My 10 cents
