I have a vacu-press, I think I paid somewhere around $1,500 about 3 years
ago. I bought it exclusively for veneer work and immediately fell in love
with it. It's a lot of fun instantly transforming a plank of wood into
quartered tiger oak for a 10th the price. I get my veneers from Certainly
Wood - http://www.certainlywood.com/
