I also use the Oreck portable, since you own and use both the Oreck and the Metro is there any difference in the performance of either, or are they equal?

I've been using the Oreck . I like the plastic housing( won't ding) is lighter and does the job. I still use my Metro in the shop , and car. Should be $165 online.
