I am trying to clean a brass pedal plate for a ca. 1998 Weber Upright (Young Chang), badly spotted and/or rusted/corroded, possibly from floor cleaning agents in the school. Having a tough time making any headway, even with a wire wheel. Pretty sure it's brass, not just plated. If lacquered, what's the quickest and best way to remove so I can polish and maybe re-lacquer? I've got 5-6 to do. Thanks. Paul Milesi, RPT Washington, DC (202) 667-3136 E-mail: paul at pmpiano.com Website: http://www.pmpiano.com
