Hello all. Today the plate on a 1904 Haines Bros. Upright broke. It snapped through on the right hand strut at the top where the strut meets a bolt hole as a horizontal break. It broke through the bolt hole. It is in the bottom-most part of the pin field at the lower edge of the plate. There is material on either side of the hole, enough to repair if repair is possible.
