This might sound like a "duh" idea, but perhaps they put the casters on the twin dolly, instead of to one side of the casters.

Subject: [pianotech] Mounting Baldwin Acrosonic Console on Twin Dollies

Hi all,

I just got off the phone with a store I do private contract work for, they sold a pair of twin dollies to a school district about 50 miles north of here.

When the janitors put the Acrosonic console on the dollies it "leans" forward, upon examination they discovered a 1"-2" board under the back of the piano that extends between the rear casters(?). Please understand, this was all explained to me by the salesman, over the phone.

I have never seen or heard of anything like this before, anyone else?

Thanks,

Mike
