Here's a link to the PTG Facebook group:

My problem with Facebook is information there has an expiry date. It rolls
it off the home page according to mysterious algorithms, and once gone
there doesn't appear to be any way to get it back. Google+ will likely try
to do everything that Facebook doesn't, but I don't see an organized
presence there for piano techs yet.

The Piano Tuner-Technicians Forum at Piano World runs on the UBB forum
software. It may appeal most to people who like the online threaded forum
format, which it does very well. It has a searchable archive that goes back
to 2001. This is a shorter link to it:

The pianotech Google Group set up by John Delacour is an email list. It is
probably the closest in format and spirit to the current Mailman list, so
if you want to stick with email, it's probably the place:

In addition to the usual email, Google has a new web-interface that gives a
Gmail sort of experience to mailing lists. I find it useful for various
things and run several groups there for non-piano purposes.

There is the Piano Tuners & Technicians group on LinkedIn, the professional
networking site:

And of course the Higher Logic Connected Community service will be
essential for PTG business and committees, and will continue to host a
Pianotech and CAUT discussion in its inimitable fashion.

See you all around the Internet.
