Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for the ideas abot the Kawai grand I'm visiting on Friday. I'll let you know what happened.

Today I went to tune a Webber console, Asain made. It had a loose hammer but screw which took me FOREVER to screw in because the cord loop and hammer spring didn't want to catch one another. I wanted to know what type of screw driver do you guys use, and do you hook up the spring and loop first when you do it or after? My philips heads didn't seem to fit. The slotted one did, but the head of the screw looks kind of like a philis head but some how different. What ideas do you have/? Also, I suggested to my new customer that they move the piano away from the heat register. I think that's whats drying out the insides of this piano action. thanks.
Marshall
