Hi Joseph,

I just got one myself and so far it is great for all I need. You can use a contacts app for your clients, calendar for scheduling, Google maps for directions, Internet through 3G, camera for warranty issues, etc. You can also e-mail customers an estimate or invoice, or print one out if you have an Airprint printer. One big advantage is being able to use Google maps at night. When you arrive at a customers' home, it is almost impossible to see the house number much of the time. With Maps it shows exactly when you have pulled up in front of the correct house.

I got 3G capability with mine for internet availability in the car. Otherwise you would have to use wi-fi.

Due to the holiday rush, I have not yet found time to import my documents from the desktop. My only concern is whether there is a suitable app for running Excel and Word files. So far I haven't discovered one that is entirely satisfactory.

Hope this is helpful
