?I was wondering if anyone has heard any news about damage to the Yamaha and Kawai piano factories in Japan. From what I understand they are located somewhat near the coast. Current estimate is over 10,000 deaths, countless missing, homeless everywhere, undrinkable water, and major damage throughout the country, not just at ground zero. Pianos are heavy objects subject to falling over and being tossed around, particularly if they are boxed up and stacked high for shipping.
