Hi Everyone, I'm goning to tune a Aeolian Melodi Pro. I'm told it has a helpinstill pick ups. I wanted to know is there a technique in removing that before tuning? Someone sent me an e-mail a while ago, but I cannot locate it. So I wanted to know if you could give me the heads up again. Another piano I encountered yesterday-I went to tune a piano yesterday and found out it was a duoart. Taking off the top wasn't a problem but to get into the bass area to tune it one would have to remove the player. It has these thin metal brackets that screw onto the piano which I figured I would remove the screws, but it's connected to what looks like a pipe or hose going into it, kind of reminds me of some of the pars under the hood of a car. the pipe looking thing is gat and come out of the bottom left of this big black part of the player onthe bass side. so is there a knack for removing this? Should I jsut refer them to a tech. who works on players? thanks Marshall Marshall Gisondi Piano Technician Marshall's Piano Service pianotune05 at hotmail.com 215-510-9400 www.phillytuner.com Graduate of The School of Piano Technology for the Blind www.pianotuningschool.org Vancouver, WA -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
