On Steinway's I've used a rubber hose, like a gas supply line. Measure the inside dimension of the cup in the pedal, and then go to an auto supply store and buy a rubber hose with the same outside dimension. The sustain edal squeaked, and as far as I could tell the offender was the hard, dried out, ubber cup, bushing, collar (I don't know what to call it) that sits in the end f the pedal and receives the pedal rod. Does anyone know where to get these? hey are not the same from piano to piano. I have some for other brands, and hey did not work here. The whole set needs to be replaced. I can't find them n Schaff's catalog (doesn't mean they aren't there). Arlie Rauch lendive, MT -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
