Marshal Samick has a similar set up, as Don and Paul mentioned. Since this is in a church, you might want to ask the choir director if he/she ever uses the mute rail. If it's never being used, either leave it in, or at most, take it out, and give it to the choir director. It was not connected to a rod which would normally connect to a middle pedal assembly because this piano only had a soft pedal and a sustain pedal. I left the rail out because I was concerned that it might get in the way later on. This occured at a church where I tune on a regular basis. Have any of you come across this, a practice pedal without the practice pedal hardware to connect it?
