Are you saying that you are hearing a lot of undesirable overtones coming out of the bass strings, and that these overtones become more prominent the louder you play? If that is what you are saying, then string replacement may be the answer. What make and model are the piano? It is important to determine where the problems lie, because voicing may treat the symptom but not the problem.
